Arcadia Mental Health Counseling Services of New York

I currently provide individual therapy to adults 18 or older via a confidential, HIPPA compliant telehealth platform. That means we can have our sessions virtually at days/times that are convenient for you without you ever having to leave your house!

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, I focus on understanding each of my clients unique stories, personalities and strengths so that I can help them rebalance their life. Many people I meet with experience some difficulty adjusting to changes in their life, whether it’s moving, starting a new job, relationship shifts, processing a loss, etc. Others struggle with ongoing issues such as depression, anxiety or the lingering effects of past trauma. Whether you are interested in feeling less anxious, recognizing and coping with triggers, engaging in more self care, or something in between, I provide relatable, compassionate and actionable mental health tools that can help you.

“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”

Career/College Counseling

Are you currently a college student struggling with time management, staying motivated and/or may be questioning what their next move should be? Maybe you’re someone who feels burned out and is interested in exploring alternative careers. Or, maybe you need some encouragement to practice being more assertive and to go after advancing in the career you already have. These are just a few examples of issues I help people navigate through. Through career-focused counseling I can help you gain more knowledge about what options are available & help you problem-solve any barriers to achieving overall career satisfaction and work/school/life balance.

“It’s not what you achieve, it’s what you overcome. That’s what defines your career.”

Group Therapy

In my experience, the camaraderie that is gained from participating in therapeutic groups is incredibly rewarding and helps people see that they are not as alone as they sometimes feel. In group therapy, we will stick to a specific therapeutic topic and members will share their views, experiences and feelings in a safe and confidential setting. It’s a place for reflection, feedback and support.

*No therapy groups are running at this time.
